In 1992, he graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, Department of Business Administration. In 1993, he started working as a research assistant at Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. He completed his postgraduate studies at the same university and received his Ph.D. in 2002. Later, he had the opportunity to expand his scientific knowledge in the field of economics with his experience and experiences in business by working in the family business in the private sector. In 2004, he started working as a lecturer at Pamukkale University Honaz Vocational School Business Administration Programme. At the same school, he received his title of Assistant Professor in 2006. During his time at Honaz Vocational School, he contributed to the growth and development of the institution by taking on many administrative and academic responsibilities. In doing so, he made important contributions, especially in the new campus of the school and in the introduction of the 3+1 education model, which has been implemented in only 8 educational institutions in our country since 2014, at the university.
Later, in 2013, he started working as an assistant professor at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising. In 2015, he received the title of associate professor in the field of management and strategy in the same department. He performed administrative and academic duties at the Faculty of Communication. In 2021, he was promoted to Professor in the Department of Public Relations and Publicity in the same faculty. Prof. Dr. Ali Soylu was appointed dean of the Faculty of Communication in August. He is married and has one daughter.
