He graduated from Selçuk University’s Faculty of Communication, specializing in Public Relations and Publicity, in 2002. He pursued a master’s degree in the same discipline at the Institute of Social Sciences, completing it in 2004, and earned his Ph.D. in 2008. In 2010, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Cumhuriyet University’s Faculty of Communication.
In 2012, he achieved the rank of Associate Professor. He transitioned to Süleyman Demirel University in 2016, becoming the head of the Department of Journalism within the Faculty of Communication. In February 2018, he was promoted to Professor at Süleyman Demirel University, within the Department of Public Relations and Publicity. He continues to serve as the head of that department.
In 2020, he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Süleyman Demirel University. He is married with two children. On October 22, 2023, he was re-elected as the Chair of the İLDEK Council for a second term.
